Job Description
o Will assist with
engineering
and provide review of the as-built drawings for DCS.
o Will be responsible for inputting equipment manuals into P8 and inputting component systems of Asset Suites.
o Will assist in evaluating OSI PI points, displayed data, and other statistical data collection.
o Will provide support in producing final documentation of new cooling tower systems for DCS.
o Other duties to be assigned as needed.
This position will receive work assignments from the Electrical & Instrumentation supervisor and/or Lead Electrical & Instrumentation Technician.
Required Skills
Educational Skills and
Experience: Must be at least 18 years of age. Must have completed their sophomore year and be enrolled in an electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or
computer
engineering discipline. Experience with Microsoft Office preferred. Must have a minimum GPA of 2.5.
Required Experience
This position requires frequent sitting and use of computer/keyboard, occasional standing, walking, stooping, climbing stairs and ladders, kneeling, lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds, reaching above and below shoulder level, crawling, pushing and pulling up to 75 pounds, use of tools and foot controls and turning of valves. Requires good finger dexterity, ability to perform close work, good hearing and color vision and the ability to speak. Requires the ability to analyze data, conduct research, implement recommendations, develop plans and goals, present information to others and work under pressure of time constraints. Over 50 percent of the day is spent in an office environment. Exposed occasionally to dirt, dust, chemicals, extreme heat and cold, vibration, noise, poor ventilation, electrical risks, confined areas and working at heights up to 150 feet.
