The Sports Administration Department provides
administrative
and sales support functions for the High Complexity Value Stream, including Live
events
, Mobile and Modular and Spectacular.
1. Administrative support functions including copying, word processing, document scanning and verification, alpha and numeric filing.
2. Assemble, distribute, and track documentation such as faxes, shipping documents, orders, sales agreements, quotes, proposals, travel itineraries, marketing materials, and other materials.
3. Various data entry into MDM, perform regular clean up and duplicate customer entry.
4. Various data entry into Glovia including new customers and limited contract order entry.
5. Assist Project Managers as needed. Tasks may include document submittal and preparation including drawings, Request for Proposals, Request for Information submittals, pay applications, insurance, safety and bond forms, lien waivers, closeout submittals, and manual submittals.
6. Maintenance of Pipeline data to include updating order and ship date information.
7. Professionally answer incoming phone calls. Ability to pre-qualify and route the calls to the appropriate person, as well as assist customers as needed.
8. Make suggestions for process and product improvement and participate in department 5S activities.
9. Consistently complete quality work in a timely manner. Self-starter that inspects own work. Quickly learn new tasks. Accurately and consistently complete repetitive tasks.
10. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned to support department responsibilities.
Requirements
1.
bachelor
's or Associate's degree in Business or related field.
2. Reasonable knowledge of Daktronics product line or demonstrated ability to learn products quickly.
3. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent telephone skills.
4.
computer
skills in Microsoft Office Programs. Capable of learning new programs such as Glovia, Maximizer, MDM, SharePoint, and Pipeline. Excellent keyboarding skills are desirable.
5. Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime as needed to support department responsibilities and region sales efforts. Be at work on time and maintain good attendance.
6. Demonstrated organizational and time management skills. Must be able to meet deadlines and accurately complete tasks assigned.
7. Ability to work effectively as a team player, as well as independently with little supervision.
8. Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
9. Background check will be conducted.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
