Senior Associate Athletic Director-Facilities and Operations

South Dakota State University is accepting applications for a Senior Associate Athletic Director for Facilities and Operations. This position will report to the Athletic Director and serve as a key decision maker and integral member of the senior leadership team, while having oversight of facilities, grounds, sports medicine, strength and conditioning, equipment room, game management, project management, and sport supervision.
MINIMUM
Qualifications:
Earned Master's degree (preference in sports management, sports administration or related field).
A minimum of five years full-time successful administrative leadership experience in a collegiate setting.
Experience with day to day management operations.
Budget management.
Mentoring and supervision of staff.
Experience with capital, facility and project management.
Commitment to promote an atmosphere of compliance and adherence to institutional, conference and NCAA rules and regulations.
Self-directed and motivated.
Effective communication (oral, written and interpersonal) skills.
Demonstrated organizational and time management skills.
PREFERRED
Qualifications:
Familiarity with NCAA policies, procedures, rules and regulations.
Experience with sport supervision.
Fundraising and public relations experience.
Successful career path.
